Monsoon Teas’ concept of “forest-friendly tea” follows a philosophy of sustainability, biodiversity and social responsibility. The teas in this set come from wild tea trees of a rare Camellia Sinensis variety that grow untouched in the species-rich forests of northern Thailand. These untamed trees thrive without human intervention and thus promote harmony with their environment. The teas are picked and processed by members of a mountain tribe who once migrated from Tibet and whose villages are still hidden deep in the forests of northern Thailand. For them, the tea creates economic prospects and at the same time helps to preserve the sensitive ecosystem of the forest.

Taste: Smooth and robust with malty undertones and a subtle hint of dried fruit.
Visual Appearance: Dark, twisted leaves that produce a rich, amber-colored infusion.
Preparation: Use 2g per 200ml of water at 95°C, steep for 3–4 minutes.

Jungle Oolong

Taste: Complex and floral with honey notes and a smooth, creamy finish.
Visual Appearance: Tightly rolled leaves that unfold into a golden-yellow infusion.
Preparation: “Use 2g per 200ml of water at 85°C, steep for 3–5 minutes.”

Jungle Green

Taste: Fresh and vegetal with a delicate sweetness and grassy undertones.
Visual Appearance: Vivid green leaves that produce a light green infusion.
Preparation: Use 2g per 200ml of water at 80°C, steep for 2–3 minutes.
