The SiamTeas Club Box is a flexible format for bundling several types of tea in generously proportioned tasting size on a monthly basis at prefential price. At this, the selection of teas compiled in the box can either represent a specific topic, sample the most recent new introductions at Siam Tea Shop or simply offer a random choice of personal favorites of mine.

21th Edition (September ’23) – “Darjeeling Autumnals” (Darjeeling Autumn Flushes)
The 21st edition – September 2023 – of the CLUBBOX @ Siam Tea Shop is a Darjeeling “Autumnals” box. As such, it offers 25g of tea each from the autumn pickings of 5 different Darjeeling tea gardens. At this, for each order the selection of tea gardens represented in the box is based on current availability. This means that autumn flushes from those 5 Darjeeeling tea gardens whose autumnals are currently in stock will go into your box! If less than 5 Darjeeling Autumnals are available at the time of your order, we will take the liberty of filling vacant positions with autumnals from Assam tea gardens represented at Siam Tea Shop instead.
“Autumnals” @ Siam Tea Shop
The autumn flushes, also called “autumnals”, today ever more often are referred to as the “lost treasure of Darjeeling”. This means “the lost treasure of Darjeeling”, but why actually “lost”? Well, when it comes to tea from Darjeeling, everything uses to revolvd around the first and second flushes, i.e. the teas from the spring and summer picking. At this, the autumn pickings all too often fall by the wayside.
The autumn pickings have been an integral part of our portfolio at Siam Tea Shop since 2016. And not just in the shop, but also in our cup… And as incredible as it may sound, these teas are indeed a reason to look forward to fall! Because the multi-faceted mildness and the comparatively low caffeine content of Autumnals help making the best of long autumn evenings. A veil of sweet mildness spreads like a pastel-amber robe over the teas of the autumn picking. New facets, previously overshadowed by the sharp aromas of spring and summer, emerge.
