Description
Traditional Japanese Kyusu Teapot, black, 220ml. The small, handmade clay teapot in shiny black color with characteristic side handle and worked-in strainer is perfectly suitable for the preparation and enjoyment of Japanese green teas or any other type of tea alone or in tea groups of up to 3 participants.
The incorporated inner sieve of the Kyusu teapot eliminates the need for another, external strainer, ensuring a comfortable and authentique tea drinking.
“Kyusu” is the Japanese word for the traditional teapot used for preparing loose leaf green tea in Japan. Japanese Kyusu teapots typcially (though not necessarily) have a long side handle instead of the common teapot handle, supporting the secure and safe grip of the teapot, without the hand getting in touch with the teapot’s heated body.
